Getting Started!

Yes, it all began with an idea, and a design. We focused on marine life because of our connections to the beach and Christian’s work as a marine scientist. But we expanded our designs to include other ecosystems, realizing there’s beauty in every environment and whether land or sea, pollution and issues like deforestation are everywhere.

Our Designs

The designs are very intentional and symbolic of the tremendous value life on our planet holds. A circle is represented in each design, representing the earth. The silver or gold outline represents how valuable and precious our wildlife and plant life are and; therefore, should be protected (cradled within the circle).

Transforming each sketch to the graphic designs displayed on our products was a painstaking process. First, you must seek the right designer that can accurately transform your sketch to a graphic and bring it to life. It requires finding that right person that “gets” your style, and the process includes many revisions, constant collaboration and feedback, and patience! But we were very successful. We’re starting out with 12 designs, but there are 14 others in development.  Here’s a look at the before and after of some of our current designs you’ll find on our apparel, tote bags, mugs, water bottles, and stickers:
